My son and I watch in horror as they strip
the land along the highway to build yet another mall.
Where did the animals and trees go? All dead?
Why? We have a large mall and countless
stripmalls dotting the landscape, empty
storefronts abound. We must stop
America's insatiable need to consume.
We feel helpless to change it...."
The
Ladies Prefer Series was inspired by a ladies' tea party.
I'm disturbed by the rape of the land, the indifference
to animal and plant life.
No words can describe my sadness and sense of loss when
